    Default Definition of Collaboration!

What is the definition of collaboration? = When mtbrs and equestrians work together.

"BIG kudos to the Gallatin Valley Back Country Horsemen who part’nered up with MMBA for a trail work day on the CDT in the Henry Mtns / Lionhead on Saturday. 6 horsemen joined 13 cyclists at Mile Creek to make repairs on the 2-mile section between the Dry Fork and Targhee Summit (10,000’) where it had eroded dangerously thin in places. Nothing like horsepower to haul tools, cold drinks & lunch."

Ya didn't see me do it. Ya can't prove it!

When you have soil that is mainly rock and not easily broken down by any one user group, equestrians and mountain bikers get along just fine. At White Ranch, a trail just up the street for me, there is a horse riding business where they bring tourists up the trail on horseback several times a day. The guys in charge are very friendly and we all get along great. Of course, if the horses left significant damage to the trail every step they took as with the soil makeup in the Midwest, I doubt that would be the case.
