Default Thrilling Thirsty Thursday Group Ride- 6/7 @ SBP

So here's what I was thinking.

Sunderbruch park is in need of trail work, as are all the parks, but we need some big time help on digging in trail- so we can ride that sh*t!

But I like to ride my bike on trials that are already dug in.

So I say we do a little of both while we're there.

I am going to be there at 4:30 to get a lap in, and then lead a group ride at 5:00 sharp. We can see what the group wants to do as far as LT, Blue Mound, etc. Then it's up to you to decide if you'd like to help add trail and get a little dirty. If we kick some butt tonight, I could see us riding the new trail by next week.

Bring some refreshments, it's going to be warm. Grab a snack too if you plan on being there until dark.

Hope to see you all there!

    Cheers!

Poof and I will be leaving the parking lot at 4:30 to head to the 55 foot bermed bridge. (the 40 foot wooden bermis DONE!!!)

Anyone who wants to help out, bring quality screw guns and T25 bits. We're running 3 1/8 inch screws through oak and cedar, tough stuff. Tonight, we're either going to run out of wood or finish decking the dang thing, whichever comes 1st!! All wood is carried down, now its just cut and scew. Hope to see you there!

Believe in yourself? Well sure, of course. But be aware that "believing in myself" has been the root cause of most of my injuries.

Would LOVE to get out there and meet you for the ride.

After I ride, myself along with Dave and Carol of the Browns will be digging dirt at 5:30. Find the party deck and head east around the bend. We'll be digging in a pretty big bench cut and could use any help you can give.

I'm gonna get there about 4, ride 2 laps of everything, and then work. I'm already off work so if anyone wants to ride sooner give a holla.

I'm in and I'm bringing about 20 T25 bits and a 5 lb box of screws. If you want to help with deck work, bring a good screw gun and plenty o battery. I'll try to be there by 5 but don't wait for me.
