    Who is in?

I rode there last week, and the trails were fantastic. They have added a reroute, eliminating the "big hill" that you used to have to go down. Still 4 creek crossings and like 20 logs to go over though.

yep. I'd be down for a car pool the day of if anyone is interested.
Just a bike!!? JUST A BIKE!!!??? This, here, is a highly advanced, awesome spectacle of engineering almost two hundred years in the making. It's the best exercise machine ever invented. It's a better friend than a dog. It's a better drug than Prozac. It's what I do when I'm feeling good. It's where I go when I'm feeling down. It transcends the age boundary. It brings together different ethnicities. The bike is quite possibly among the greatest achievements of man.
Why does it cost so much? Because it's TOTALLY WORTH IT!!

(60+$$ in gas)+($30 entry fee)+($20 in food)+(3.5 hours of driving for 1 hour of riding)+ (crappy forecast) = racing erectile dysfunction. I'm out.

So fun. Dry and extremely fast. Hotter than heck, though. I crashed 6 times, though. Screw log crossings. Caught my left pedal on a root not even 10' into the singletrack and went flying to the woods. Practically started last and finished 30th. I had a blast. I'm completely addicted to racing.

cool. I broke a helmet when I raced there. went otb and landed on my head at about 20 mph. I'm glad I wasn't there today, though.
