    Default Sylvan Black Dirt Jump

Just want to let FORC know that I improved the black dirt double jump on the north-east side of the island. I raked and smoothed the face, added some dirt on the runway to smooth the the bumpy ride leading up to the jump, and also raked the landing and added a little width to it. When I raked, I uncovered some pretty dangerous tree roots just passed the landing so I went ahead and covered those with dirt. It's a nice, smooth take-off and landing now.

    nice work and thank you.

I've been out practicing my feeble jumping skills on that double a few times in the last weeks...it's a lot of fun. I especially like the pump leading to the takeoff.

seeing the work done on improving this feature at Sylvan, and the jumps popping up at Sunderbruch, it seems as though there's a growing need for these type of features within the trail systems in our area...

I, for one, would like to cater to these needs...stay tuned. ;-)

Here's a few examples of progression-oriented jump areas, beautiful to me, eyesore to the layperson. Either way, I prefer trails but they don't always meet everyone's abilities.
