like our Prez stated, trails at Sunderbruch are currently not suitable for riding.

Don't expect to ride a bike on the dirt trails at Sunderbruch until late, late spring...possibly as late as late May. It all depends on how wet the spring is.

The problem with Sunderbruch this time of the year is the freeze/thaw cycle. Also, the park is within Davenport's city limits so it's used by a ton of people other than FORC'ers that understand it's vitally important to stay off of muddy trails. This then creates a huge problem for FORC because we then have to spend time repairing the damage instead of riding. And, the soil composition on a number of trails tends to hold moisture much longer than say, Sylvan Island or even ScoCoPa; there's more clay in the soil makeup at Sunderbruch.

What does all this mean?

Stay off the trails at Sunderbruch for a while. Ride Sylvan Island instead. Ya, it kinda sucks but you'll be glad you did come late fall when the riding out there is AMAZING.

Oh, and there IS a TRAIL DAY this Sunday.
