It is my intention to be there. I know it's going to be quite cold. If it's windy on top of it, I may bail (I'll text you if I decide to bail). But, gameplan as of now is that Bexter will be rockin the 2 9 at Sunderbruch on Saturday!!
    I wanna ride!

Can someone post a trail condition report after their ride tomorrow? I'm thinking about riding later in the day.

The sun will be out, so it won't seem too bad.

This maybe the last ride on my Trek, probably going to break down and finally buy a new bike next week.

With today's high being in the low 20's I would say your assumption is likely safe.

    Have a good ride!

Rode two laps at Illiniwek last night and the trails were perfect, just like over dressed summer riding!

Probably the Giant Talon 29er 1. Still looking at the Trek version but I keep going back to the Giant. I want to take it for a spin before I put the cash down, so we'll see.

    See everyone at 1.

Yes mainly on the south slopes where there's a lot of exposure to the sun

dang...was hoping these temps would freeze it solid. probably the same spots we've been fighting for years.

We rode from 2-4pm. First lap we skipped LT (due to lazyness), then found the sections with some muddy sections (Jubilee, Sugarbottom, and Blue Mound), then did a few laps where we just skipped those trails and had basically a full dry lap. Many of the soft spots were freezing up again by the time we were on our last lap. The key for today was probably avoiding the 11-3 time frame.
