Default Multisport Extravaganza, Wildlife Prairie Park, Peoria September 16-18th!!!

This Friday through Sunday is the first ever Multisport Extravaganza. This event was created to provide an opportunity for all of the active outdoor clubs in the Peoria area to share their passions with others. If you’ve always wanted to learn to play Frisbee golf, try to paddle a kayak or canoe, learn what orienteering is all about, or introduce your friends and family to the sport of mountain biking, this is your chance all during the same weekend and in one sweet location, Wildlife Prairie Park! Other activities include, grass volleyball, trail running, open water swimming, road riding, yoga and an over 21 beer run followed by a bonfire and massage.

The registration is $15 per person for the whole weekend and caps out at $40 for a family no matter how many you are. Besides the chance to try all of the above sports you will also get a rockin’ pair of sports socks with the Multisport Extravaganza logo and free entrance to the main park for the weekend! (an additional $10 covers camping for both nights)

Food will be available for purchase from the park’s caterers though out the event, but you are welcome to bring your own. The park is also offering their famous Sunday Brunch for those interested special for this event (we need a minimum of 30 people).

PAMBA’S ROLE: PAMBA will be hosting a kid’s ride on Friday night at 6pm at Wildlife that is separate from the Multisport event and as always free to everyone. Come do the ride, bring a tent, register for the MSE and stay for the weekend!

PAMBA will be leading an intermediate/advanced ride at 9:00 am Saturday morning, followed by a trailside survival mechanics course in conjunction with Little Ade’s at 10:00 am and then a Beginners group ride at 11 am! A limited number of loaner bikes will be available courtesy of Camp Kearney for the beginner ride. Bushwacker & Little Ades will have a few high-end demo bikes for qualified riders to try throughout the day.

PAMBA will also be hanging out under the “Big Green Monster” tent on Saturday, showing videos of crazy bike stunts, and enjoying brews with friends and strangers. Come help us make this an unforgettable weekend!

Please check out the website http://www.multisportextravaganza.com for a detailed schedule of events.

Come on over Forcers, we 'd love to see you!

I wish I could be there. Sounds like a blast! But alas, Friday night is the Bike N Hike / Giant bike demos at Sundebruch Park, and Taming of the Slough is Saturday. Yard work is Sunday.
    I wanna ride!

Oops, Bike n Hike / Giant demos are NEXT Friday -- Sept. 23rd. THIS Friday is the work day at Sylvan to prepare for the Taming. Sorry for any confusion.
    I wanna ride!
