I've got a Thule 957 Parkway. Holds 4 bikes. I've had it for 3 years; only used it for a few months when I first bought it. We then sold our Explorer and haven't used it since.

Yes, you can get the adapter for around $20 at Farm and Fleet or Midwest Wheel (think that's what it's called) in Davenport.
