    Default Trail Marker Posts?

    Hey its Andy from MACmtbc.org

I am wanting to speak with someone about your trail marker posts that you put up at Scott County Park. The trails at Spring Lake Park are in serious need of signs and/or markers along the way.

Please let me know who I should speak with.

    Thanks, Andy Percy

if it's the white ones that were put up just before the fest then Dave Brown (Dirt Boy) is the person you need to talk to. The rest were done by the park people.
You'd understand if you know what I was talking about.

The signs are pretty simple. It is white 1" schedule 40 PVC pipe and 1/4" HDPE (I think most plastic will do) flat stock. We used stainless steel screws to avoid rust marks. We used weather proof polyester label stock printed on a laser printer. That way as the trails change or exposure ruins the labels I can easily replace them. If I remember right there are about a dozen of them out there and we did it for under $100. We tried to post the signs at any spot where a 'decision' had to be made (go this way or that) with approx extra milage if they take the longer route. Hope this helps. PM me if you want more info
