    Default Trunk Mount Bike Racks

I am looking for a recommendation for my mom. She needs a trunk-mount bike rack for her Camry so she can tote her Homegrown around. I've never owned a trunk-mount, so I don't know where to start. I've seen some that seem sturdy and simple but I've seen many that look so complicated, I sweat Spider Man himself tried to hump the back of someone's vehicle.

Please post up if you can recommend a rack that is sturdy, easy-on, and easy-off. Remember this is for me mah, so it has to be relatively light weight, NOT complicated, but it's transporting a '98 Schwinn Homegrown (quite possibly the best damn racing bike ever formed), so it has to be of good quality.

    Thanks for the tips!

Depending on the year of her Camry; the Yakima SuperJoe 2 or 3 http://www.yakima.com/shop/bike/trunk/superjoe-2 is similar to my MegaJoe (which won't fit a Camry) and I have been very happy w/ my MegaJoe. I really like the fact that it has a stabilizer arm which helps keep the bike more firmly in place and prevents it from swaying.
Ya didn't see me do it. Ya can't prove it!

I would NOT recommend the SARIS GRABBER GUARDIAN 2 BLACK STEEL truck mount. Mine broke going down I-74. I never really trusted it to begin with.

I second the motion for Saris Bones. Zero tools required for adjust and install.

Just purchased a bones 3 rack. I love it! Compact, sturdy and easy to adjust.
