Do I need to attend the meeting, as a newbie forcer,to place an order for a jersey.

No. We will be posting the two colors we will be choosing between sometime this week. We need a minimum of 10 jerseys of the same color in order to place an order. If we have interest in both and can get a mimimum order of 10 each, we will order both colors. We will post ordering instructions. We will need cash in hand from everyone before we place the order since our financial resources are being utilized for the Fest this year (otherwise we could front the cost and have everyone pay at the time they pick up their jerseys).
