CAUTION: North Loop Trail Blockage

There is a large tree down on the steep north loop access trail on the creek facing side of the bluff. We tried to remove it today but lacked the proper equipment. It is currently leaning across the trail and tangled 20' up in another waiting to fall. We marked the area with bright pink flagging tape so it should be easy to spot and avoid until we can remove it.

We will need a large chainsaw (at least 18" bar) and a strong hand operated winching device (not the cheap come along type because we tried one and broke it). If any of you have this equipment and want to help remove the tree, post in this thread and we can make arrangements.

I have a saw with a 20" bar. I plan on coming to the trail night this Thursday and will bring it with me.

Thanks to Paul C, Drew and, CSP, the tree has been removed the north loop is now fully open. Go out and ride before it rains!
