Iowa Spring Classic #2, Hills - Iowa City

This Saturday is the 2nd race of the 3 race Iowa Spring Classic Series, to be held in Hills Iowa (just south of Iowa City), presented by Goosetown Racing and World of Bikes

Total course distance is 6.3 miles, 2.6 miles paved and 3.7 miles gravel (bring your CX bike).

Men P123, 44 miles - 7 laps, Start @ 12:00PM, 3 places - $50, $30, & $20
Men 40+, 25 miles - 4 laps, Start @ 12:05PM, 3 places - $30, $20, & $15
Men 4/5, 25 miles - 4 laps, Start @ 12:10PM, 3 places - prizes
Women P123, 25 Miles - 4 laps, Start @ 12:15PM, 3 places - $50, $30, & $20
Women 4, 25 miles - 4 laps, Start @ 12:15PM, 3 place - prizes
(women will start together)

I'll be helping at registration, will more than likely "race" (or at least ride my bike). If you're thinking about going, give a holla!

For everyone going to the spring classic tomorrow...the start/finish has been moved! The race will now be starting/finishing at the Fairview Mennonite Church on the corner of 540th Street SW and Sharon Center Road (the same location as the Iowa City Road Race, map here).

Parking may be done in the church parking lot if space permits. Otherwise please park on the gravel portion of Sharon Center Road. Please carpool if at all possible.

Someone will be at the original location to direct them to the new location.

This move was made out of concerns with parking on Naples Road at the original location.
