    Default Race Across the Sky - Leadville 2010 Movie Event

    They made another movie for the Leadville Trail 100 for 2010. There is a special nationwide one night showing on Thursday November 4. In QC it's at theaters in Davenport on 53rd street.

    Last year the theater was only about 1/4 capacity.

    The movie was excellent. Last years version was more 'race specifics' oriented. This one, I thought, gave more background story on the 'no-name' racers. Amazing courage and lack of common sense in those people. You can't help tearing up a little listening to some of the hardships and demons these people were exorcising (or is it exercising?).
    Beautifully produced, the scenery and camera shots were stunning. My legs and lungs hurt just watching it.
    There is a encore showing of the movie next Tues. 11/9, but I don't think they do the live discussion part.
    PS: hope you get to feeling better Bexter, we miss you.
