Default Trail Night: Tuesday Spet 21 5:30PM

We will be continuing work from where we left of Sunday on the south loop. Meet at the lower parking lot by the sledding hill. Bring flat shovels and other dirt moving tools; we have a few extras for people to use. Long clothing recommended because of poison ivy.

Lets try that again. Same place, same time, Wednesday 9/22. I doubt we will be doing any group rides after that rain?

I was out there when the rain started and worked for a few hours since I was soaked within minutes, but it was too muddy to do much digging. However, the soil should absorb most of it quickly; a few inches down it is still powdery dry. On a positive note, it was easy to spot drainage problem areas.

I can make it tomorrow, but I don't want to.

I am planning on going to Farmdale on Saturday if the weather is nice, but I'll probably camp at Jubilee.

I don't know if I'm racing yet 'cause I have a hurt ankle that won't quit. Gotta be 100% for Moab, or at least as good as I can be.

Update: There is construction on IL-84 around the area to turn into the lower Illiniwek parking lots, they are resurfacing the road, so you may not be able to park there depending on how far they make it. If that is the case, we will meet in the upper lot. Take Hubbard road (look for the Stones orchard sign) from IL-84 until you see county maintenance buildings on the left and turn at the entrance to said buildings. Follow the gravel road to the left of the buildings to the tree line.
