I was at SBP the other day, and I was going over the big log pile on LT. As I crested the top, I saw that a log on the other side was diplaced. I knew it would be bad, so I imediately tried to unclip, but it was too late. I endo'd from the top and landed on my head and broke another helmet. Thank God it was the helmet!

First, I would like to ask everyone to put back anything that is knocked out of place. This would have saved me from another dive.

Second, if you don't usually wear a helmet, you're a dumb-ass. Please get one. You never know when you're going to need it.

So now I have a question. I had on a cheap helmet that says "for normal bicycle use. Not for downhill or extreme off road use." I suppose any riding we do would be extreme off road use. The question is, if I had a mtn helmet, would I have to toss it or could I continue using it if it wasn't broken? It's hard to drop big bucks if can only take one shot. A cheap helmet is better than no helmet.

Here come the jokes...
