    Sylvan is usually good most of the time. Only immediately after a hard rain should one stay off. It drains well. A little mud is good for you!

    Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that anything over a 1/4 inch of rain shut down the trail and it was to remain closed for 24 hours after a rainfall.

    While a little mud may not hurt the person it can lead to major damage for a trail. If you are ever leaving a rut, you shouldn't be on the trail.
    I may have to grow old, but I'll never have to grow up.
