Sulivan Island Race

This is the first time do'n this race and i was wondering if there was camping on site or if there's some camping near by someone can refer me to.

The is no on-site camping at Sylvan Island. It is set in an urban area so there aren't many off site camping areas either. The closest area with camping that comes to mind is West Lake Park, which is about 20 minutes away.

West Lake is a great park. Equal distance away is another park to consider. Illiniwek in Hampton IL, it has riverfront sites which are great at night with a camp fire!

If you're coming from the North, there is a camp ground right off I80 (on the North side), but I can't remember if it's off Brady or Northwest. It's a Good Sam camp ground.
