I figured with all the warm temps and massive rain we had last weekend that the trail conditions at Sylvan would be great for riding... snow and ice gone and solid trails after the freeze today. That's not the case as of today. Other than near the entrance to the island, much snow and ice remains, and the riding is really crappy according to the crew who just rode there. I'm going to officially cancel the ride which is not to say you guys can't go, but I'm not going to go. John went out to Sylvan about an hour ago to verify that the conditions remain crummy... they do.

Alternative: Filling Station for wings and beer at 1 PM New Year's Day.
    I wanna ride!

The conditions at Sylvan are less than desirable. I don't know if anyone would be interested but I rode for about an hour today, even though it was on the bike path, it was outside, it was on the bike, it was all good. So, if you might like to do a spin around town on the bike paths tomorrow let me know.

In wine there is wisdom, in beer there is freedom, in water there is bacteria.
