Dorrance - Clearing - Thur. 9/13 @ 430pm

Planning on clearing corridor for the final section of black loop this Thursday 9/13 at 4:30 pm. Meeting in the inner parking lot (directions here) by the playground. See map below for work area if you arrive late and need to find us. We'll be out until 8:00pm.

Tools Needed: (I'll have a few extra tools available)
- Pruning saws, loppers, etc.
- Rogue Hoes and other grubbing tools.

Could not find the entry to Unkle Ruckus. Is any of it rideable?

Thanks for the heads up on the trees. We'll work on getting them cleared Thursday. Any chance you remember their locations on the following map (http://www.qcforc.org/trails/dfp/DFP-TrailSegments.png) and could list what segments they are on (ie. G1, G3, etc)? I won't be able to get up there earlier to scout them out.

First section of UR is ridable and the, temporary, entrance is located along the south woodline on the grass hill overlooking interior parking lot (see dashed black line on map above). first one is after diagonal roots after entry to blue. second one is on top of blue . huge one after second big drop coming down blue back to green. that one might need a log bridge over it! its 3 ft dia at least. next one is somewhere after black exit on green trail. and one right before the big drop on black trail.
