This section will be open Friday 8/24 so it's ridable for the Duro on Saturday 8/25.
Tuesday 8/21 at 4:30 pm
- Moving rocks from parking lot pile to feature areas and building features (drops, rock gardens, etc)
Wrapped up section Tuesday and canceling Thursday work day.
Thursday 8/23 at 4:30 pm
- Wrapping up feature work and fine tuning trail for opening.
Meeting in the inner parking lot (directions here) by the playground at the times listed above.
We got a good start moving rock and building features last week. There are still a few more drops and a rock garden to build. We'll need to move more boulders from the parking lot pile to staging areas (with vehicle & trailer) and then wheelbarrow them into the trail. Bring gloves, bug spray and plenty of water. If you get there late, we'll be working to the south of the interior ball diamonds. Find the new trail up the hill and we'll be somewhere along it.
Tools Needed:
- Sturdy wheelbarrows (hand truck/dolly with pneumatic tires would also work)
- Hand tampers
- Club shovels & rogue hoes will be available.

Progress Update:
Spent last week finishing dirt rollers, moving rocks, building a large drop (rollable), making rock ledge/step features, armoring a creek crossing, and putting in a rock garden.
