We finished off the first section of blue loop last night and it needs traffic for compaction! The trail can be accessed by riding up the gravel/dirt road near the picnic shelter and taking a right at the pink flagging tape after the grassy clearing (see updated trail map). Don't mistake the new trail with the temp. trail we used for hauling bridge beams which is about 20 feet to the west (downhill).

Trail stats: 24 rollers, 5 drop features, 2 g-outs, 7 berms, 0.5 miles in length, +200 volunteer hours, 2 months to complete. This will be a one-way trail to be ridden in the clockwise direction.

Thanks again to everyone who picked up a shovel or swung a rogue hoe and made this a reality!

What's next? We'll be starting on the second section (south west portion) next week. There's still 1 mile of blue trail left to build but it's possible we can knock it out this year if good volunteer turnouts continue. Stay tuned for build day announcements.
