This weeks Dorrance trail work plan:

Thursday 9/29 @ 5:30pm - Building Retaining Walls

Dirt working tools required. As always, I'll have extra shovels & hoes available. If you have an extra post hole digger and/or tamper we'll need a few more of those also.

We're meeting in the central parking lot at the time listed above and working for a couple of hours. Get directions to the park here. See the map below for how to get to the work area if you can't make it that early.

The goal for the next couple of weeks is to build a long section of retaining wall to hold a trail located on a steep side slope. We'll need to haul in some larger logs from the parking lot, dig post holes, set posts to hold these logs, and then infill to build up the trail.
