Halloween parade

Just an FYI from Davenport Today site:

The Davenport City Council voted Wednesday to have the annual Halloween parade and trick-or-treating on the same day -- Oct. 31 – since it falls on a Saturday. Traditionally, the City Council has set trick-or-treat hours on Oct. 30 while the parade his held on Halloween night. The resolution was voted on without discussion as part of the City Council’s consent agenda. It passed unanimously.

This year, with Halloween following on a Saturday, the Council chose to try something slightly different. The Halloween Parade will be at 1 p.m., with trick-or-treating from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Applications for parade entries is here.
