There is a bit of maintenance work needing to be done at Illiniwek to get the trails in in tip top shape for the Taming and Tune Ups. Plans are to repair some eroded areas and a couple of berms that have deteriorated over the years and open up sight lines on a few corners. Hopefully the rain this weekend will cut down on the dust and make the perfect dirt for this kind of work. Flat shovels and rogue hoes are needed as usual and I'm bringing a few extra tools if you don't have any. Pruning saws and loppers will be needed for trimming sight lines (I have a few pairs of extra loppers). Lets meet in the parking lot up near the salt dome on the south loop at 5:30 pm. Eye protection, sturdy shoes, and long pants are all recommended.

Let me know if you can make it.
