Although this game is 2d, basic, and stickman-ish (think stick-death); it is very entertaining. The link I'm posting based on dirt bike supercross, the creator has another map that is based for the mtb or bmx bike. This creator has two track maps, while I believe there are thousands out there. Try it out, and post up with your thoughts... good or bad. Remember, try both of this users tracks, and also there are around 5 or 6 vehicles to choose from. I usually just use the mtb.

Here are both links (I wish we could embed links)...
Here's the mtb one...

I was back in the QCA today so I decided to try another trail and when I left home Sylvan was the only one open so the choice was easy. I talked to a couple guys at the pavilion that were helpful and got me started in the right direction, if you are on here thanks! For the most part I stayed on the marked race course, though somehow I still got off course and lost a few times. I got behind a couple other riders to try to follow the right course I thought I was doing good until they got to the straight section between the concrete walls, lets just say they were quite a bit quicker then me and it was probably a moderate pace for them. What kind of speeds are you all averaging on that course? Today I averaged 10.2 mph.

Regardless I still had a great time. There were quite a few people on the trails today so I probably seen a couple of you. If you saw a confused and conflicted guy on an orange Gary Fisher that was me. and for future reference if I am behind you on a trail I am not stalking just trying to be a better rider.

Thanks to all that listened.

I remember going to "ride across the sky" last year at a local theater, and when I was in CO last weekend, there way a flier for a screening of "Ride the Divide", another MTB movie for a race down the continental divide from Canada to Mexico.

At the website for the movie http://www.ridethedividemovie.com/ they talk about a screening kit you can buy, then charge people to watch it (after you find somewhere to play it). Not sure if anyone from FORC coordinated the one last year, but it might be an idea for a way to make some money for the club.

Or I could just buy it and maybe someone with a big theater in their basement could play it at a cold weather season get together - maybe a winter party.

Hello, I just stumbled on this website the other day in my quest looking for trails to ride not to far from home. I have spent quite a few hours (I think the wife is mad at me) reading various post, it seems like this board is pretty close knit. About 10 years ago I use to ride BMX and have been wanting to get into MTB'ing for the last year; so I took the plunge in April and have been just riding to build some Stamina before I really hit some trails. I need some MTB friends as all my friends are to broke to buy a bike or to lazy to put down the game controllers. It is time to put my bike to work and stop the pampered life so I have a couple questions for your family.

Are your group rides just for members or do you allow non members to join?
How often do you have group rides?
Would you recommend someone ride the trails by themselves?

I hope to be riding with some of you in the near future, and hope to not slow anyone down as I just wanna go fast like Ricky Bobby!

Thanks
