You know how it pays to know someone in the bike-shop business or any business for that matter? Did you know that you know someone in the mortgage business?
Mortgage rates did their thing again today...Finally! I was able lock deals today at 5.50 and 5.75% (no points!). I hope to see more of the same on Wednesday. Hey no need to apologize for the "commercial"! We all understand how important networking is to any business.

And just as the mortgage rates are low which makes it a great time if you are a buyer, the auto industry is doing the same thing. My friends and family are saving a TON of cash right now...it really is a good decision to take advantage of the "down" economy if you have been thinking about getting a new/newer vehicle.

Funny how the mortgage business seems to have a way with messing up my biking plans...Rates dropped significantly yesterday afternoon after an extended period of higher rates. If you sat on the sidelines the last two times, please don't do it again...Rates are under 5% fixed on all terms. These are at or near historic lows. If you are the person sitting around going "I do everything right...Where's my bailout?!?" This is it. We wouldn't see rates like these if there wasn't an economic crisis. Take advantage. Refi your house and get a couple grand cash out to buy a new bike in the process! I will also give any FORC member (or referral) a friendly FORC discount on closing costs. Call me at 309-732-5001. I am still hoping to go for a ride this afternoon but you never know. I'll keep you posted, AG.
