3 Tenative dates for THE ride... these are all Saturdays. I still have to contact the pubs.

June 27-my pick, the sooner, the better
August 1
August 15

Tenative route will begin around lunchtime and will end around suppertime. I don't have the mileage yet. This ride will be on the Illinois side only:

Moline Bier Stube
Lap around perimeter of Sylvan Island, with homebrew/coolers.
Blue Cat
River House
Bent River

June 27th works better for me since I am off that day. But if you have it in Aug just let me know so I can get that day off in plenty of time.

I can't wait!

The first two are race weekends. So as your current IMBCS Cat 3 Points Leader I really have to focus there!:burnout:

Here's to no one showing up for more races than me!!

You come up with a date yet?

OK, I have contacted all the pubs, and set a timeline for le Tour de Brew, Saturday, August 15th edition.

Moline BierStube-leave at 12.30pm (has food menu avail.)
Sylvan Island-12.45-1.15pm perimeter lap and homebrew/coolers
R.I. Blue Cat-1.30-2.30pm (has food menu avail.)
Sylvan Island-2.45-3.15pm (xtra card lap) homebrew/coolers
Moline River House-3.30-4.30pm (has food menu avail.)
Moline Bent River-4.30-??? (has food menu avail.)

I am looking for someone to staff a "mobile pub" at Sylvan Is., so if you don't want to ride, you can pass out beers here!
A couple of guidelines: this ride is not open to the general public, you have to be deemed cool enough to go, :coolgleamA:
you are on your own if you crash :cwm14:
and NO ONE under 21 years of age should be participating.:nono:

Let me know if you can make it, so I can give the pubs a heads-up.

Ok, just a reminder for THE Tour on Saturday-August 15-it was about the only Saturday that did not have a race or fest going on. I'm posting this up now, since Scot & I probably won't see anyone in person til then-this w/e, we will be at the Great Taste of the Midwest in Madison for beer nirvana-110 brewers, 500 beers, wines, meads, ciders  over 50 cask conditioned real ales-have you ever tried Surly's Tea Bagged Furious? it has nothing to do with tea, and everything to do with HOPS; tents with such attractions as grilling ribs with beer, beer & cheese pairings, beer & chocolate-last year one of the brewers had a beer served in edible chocolate cups.. but enough of my rambling. Hope to see you on the 15th.

BIG THANKS to Karen & Scott for organizing Le Tour de Brew! We had a great time. I think the mobile tap room should accompany us on all club outings...one for the road!
Thanks guys!
