Weekend Maintenance

Anyone up for some trail work this weekend? There are a couple of wet spots that still need some attention, and a few areas we need to do some saw work - low trees, etc. We don't have a lot of time to spruce up in advance of MTB101...

I'm thinking either Saturday or Sunday morning, looks like a beautiful weekend on tap, so will want to enjoy the afternoon with two wheels under me.

Sunday it is, 8am. Depending on how many show up, we'll cut some weeds and hopefully work on some wet areas. Bring your weed whacker and chainsaw.

Thanks to JB, Johnny, Aaron, and Legs for a great day of trail work! We fixed five chronic wet areas with new corduroy, took out some low trees, cut some weeds (more needed this week), and revamped the second creek crossing on LT. Went for a ride there this evening to check out the results; the 2nd crossing on LT is sweet! A little of the same TLC on the first crossing and LT will be dope.

To get ready for MTB101, we'll need to hit the weeds in force, and still have a leaning tree to cut out on Farmdale. Probably Wednesday, we'll figure it out at tomorrow's meeting.
