With the amazing weather I thought I would leave the office and head over to SBP to check out the trails.

We've got some work to do...

BUT, by this afternoon I don't think it would be out of line for a 1-2 bike re-con party to check out the entire system. I walked up the paved path and due to my work attire was not able to walk all the trails, but with today's wind and sun the trails are begging for some knobbys!

I am considering heading out there after work...unless someone smarter than me tells me otherwise.

...In that case I heard that Sylvan is in pretty good shape.

It is a muddy mess and standing water in some areas where bikes have left deep tracks. Saw several eroded areas on Farmdale also. Tried to walk in Comlara from the black top and it was too muddy to check out.

Please let the trails dry out. Riding in these conditions only makes more work.

I will keep checking and post updates. Hope to go out Wed. after work and take some pictures. Maybe the top trails or those not on the North side are in better shape.

I was only able to see a portion of Comlara and Farmdale. I was concerned with the how the rest of the trails were shaping up...

FWIW...Sylvan is in pretty decent shape and was a blast tonight!

Mark, let me know whenever you need help getting the trails back in shape...I live and work very close to SBP... ;)
