seems as how the ambassador class is at noon, i don't think i'll make this ride. i need to spend some quality time with my 4 year old and the wife so i can go to class. don't wanna be gone ALL day again today as i had to work yesterday also. just not enough time in a day to get everything fit in sometimes.

hey guys i'm from iowa city and was thinking about coming to ride Sylvan on Monday --- i was wondering if you (locals) think it will be rideable or if it will be too muddy/nasty. any info would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

The earlier you get there, the better. I rode at noon on Sat and it was sloppy. Rode at 9:00am Sun and it was great. By 10:45, it was starting to warm up in spots.
