Received this from Annie this week. Awesome chance to hang with the big-dogs and help Cambr.

I hope this finds you well. Cambr needs your help to get the word out. Christian Vande Velde approached us before Thanksgiving to offer up his services for a Cambr fund raiser. On January 2nd we will be having Cocktails with Christian. Attached is the flyer. Between 1:00pm – 4:00pm we get to meet Christian, his dad, Iowa boy Jason McCartney of team Radio Shack and Robbie Ventura. The entry fee for Cambr members is $25 and non-members are $35. It includes all the Goose Island 312 or Lynfred Wine you can drink, appetizers, the chance to meet pro-riders and the first 150 people who purchase tickets will get a SRAM pint glass, socks and a door prize ticket. SRAM has donated a XX drive train for a silent auction and a fork for the raffle.

We are using some of the fund raising money for marketing. People need to be aware that the trails are being built by volunteers and not paid land managers. Because this is a mountain bike volunteer awareness event if someone is not a Cambr member belongs to another mountain bike club they will receive 2 raffle tickets with a value of $5.00 a piece. They must have proof that they belong to your club.
We need your help in getting the word out both at your sites and road club sites. We would greatly appreciate you posting this on your web-site or where ever you feel would help out.
We will be grateful for any advertising you can provide. It is only 3 weeks away and we want this to be a success!
Thanks for everything and looking forward to seeing you guys in 2011!!
Ride On,
Annie
