What: HFDB Time Trial - Illiniwek Group Ride
When: 12:00pm Saturday, November 6 (group ride at noon, TT starts around 2-ish)
Where: Illiniwek Park, lower parking lot
Who: FORC Members who want to HFDB
--> New members are welcome and encouraged to join (only club members can participate due to insurance coverage - helmet mandatory).
Why: Goes without saying...

Terrific day to ride some awesome trails! Thanks to JB and Drew for setting up a course in the south loop, and to everyone who has had a hand in developing these trails, which have some of the best flow in the area.

After following tradition and breaking his chain 50yds from the start, Neips came back to scorch the south loop and knock Harold from the hotseat with a 10:12 ride. Not to be outdone, Drew took another shot at the podium but wasn't able to unseat Neips. Jen rode strong to take the top honors in the women's category.

Thanks to all that showed up for the ride and TT. When I joined this club my goaled was to see MTB trails at Illiniwek and my dream has come true! Big thanks to RAY for helping with all the county stuff, DREW for all his hard work on the trails, all the members that showed up on all those Thursday trail nights, and oh yea FORC for making it all possible!:rockon:

I never dreamed that this system would turn out this good, and when I lookaround out there and see the potential for closing the loops up, I can't believe that this trail system turned out so well!
