FORC Jersey Order: Spring 2009

How many people are interested in another jersey or are new members who missed out on the last order? The design is going to stay the same but I will be sorting out the color issues that were apparent in the last batch. The club has two large womens short sleeve jerseys currently available for $50 each.

I have attached an order sheet with all the options and prices. I need reservations for at least ten jerseys to make an order.

Rick also suggested arm warmers with the camo pattern that match the jersey. Is anyone else interested in these? The price will be around $20 a pair.

What color is it going to be? I maybe interested in arm warmers as well.

The colors will be similar, the current orange will be replaced with a less yellow orange and the grey will be more neutral in tone. Think something like concrete shade of grey and the color of an orange fruit.

Downhill jerseys are available; check the order sheet for more options. The sizing information for the downhill jerseys is as follows: (Chest 1" below armpit)

XS 43
S 45
M 47
L 49
XL 51
XXL 53

If you want a DH jersey, you may want to talk with someone who has one to find out which size will fit correctly because there is no sizing kit available for that style.

As far as fitting goes, if you know someone that has a jersey ask to try it on and be aware that the sizing runs a little small.

Check the order sheet I posted at the beginning of the topic for approximate sizing. Dig out the tape measure.

I am not sure yet if we are going to do a pay when you get your jersey (most likely) or pay before. The soonest the payment would be needed is by the next meeting (4/6/09). Still working out the details and will keep you updated.

I have already sent the order out, so I am not accepting anymore orders at this time. There will be twelve "club style" jerseys available for purchase from the club once the jerseys are delivered. If there is enough demand after that a new order will be started.

Yes, these are member jerseys. However, you're in luck - that green dough can make you a member of the coolest club this side of the Mississippi - Join!

1. You will support the only organization in the Quad Cities area that actively promotes mountain biking through building and maintaining trails, having races, providing training, etc. etc...
2. Discounts at area Bike Shops (as you noted)
3. General liability insurance and Excess Medical insurance
4. Entry fee discount at FORC races
5. Participation in club events such as trail building/maintenance, local and away group rides, general social activities, etc.
6. ...
7. ...
The list goes on, but if you think about it, the first one listed is enough: we wouldn't have the trails we ride if it weren't for FORC. What could be a better reason to join than to support that effort?



What time is the monthly meeting?
6:30pm, First Monday of each month, Front Street Brewery (as listed on our calender).



Being a paid club member what is expected of me?
Ride your bike, have fun, support the club as much or as little as you chose.



How do I know that you got my membership stuff in the mail?
