View Full Version : How do you get a park to allow mtb trails?

I live about 45 minutes north of the QCA and there is a state park not too far from me that would be great for mountain biking. They already have a lot of horse trails but no biking. I'd say it's about the size of Scott county park.

Living in Clinton doesn't give many options for mountain biking. Having some trails closer to home would be pretty sweet.

Its a good thing that the Forcers make it worth it to come down.

Are you talking about Morrison Rockwood by any chance? We use to ride there many years ago during the winter months.

Yeah, that would be the one. We rode there years ago too, got told we couldn't ride there because mountain bikes cause erosion. You should see the ruts on the horse trails.... Anyway, that was a long time ago.
