I've looked at that every year, but spring time trips are a bust for me due to work. You never know though...

Let's see....
Thursday, leave QC in the evening, drive to Lincoln.
Friday, leave early, drive to Fruita, knock out a night ride.
Saturday, Ride Ride Ride Ride.
Sunday, Ride Ride Ride, leave late afternoon, drive to Denver.
Monday, drive back to QC.

Two days off, two fat days of riding.

The idea has merit.

What's the secret behind being married and still taking all these weekend trips? Moab is going to cost me at least three bathroom cleanings.

I'm a bigger pain in the ass if I don't go, and she knows that.

Hard to say no when I'm so close. I have a comfy recliner, coach, and three air mattresses (twin, full, and a really comfortable queen). If you can make it to Golden in one night you are more then welcome to stay for FREE. I know of a pretty good Mexican place in town too! Me and Don have confirmed it twice! Another option is to ship your bike to my place and I'll build it back up before you get here (if you're brave enough to have me work on your bike), and you can fly.

I'd be kinda stoked to do a 4 or 9 day trip this April. For places I haven't ridden there yet that I want to do- The Edge trail, 35 mile IMba Epic rated trail through the mountain outside of Fruita CO.

Here's a crappy video of "rapelling down the waterfall". We handed bikes down worse than that on Porcipine!! Ain't so bad.

For more riding videos, search "joes ridge" and if you think that's scary, then search "Zippity Fruita". For flowy UMMMMM you got "prime cut", "Kessel run" and "Chutes and Ladders".

For Bluff views along the Colorado River, and also within 10 miles- Horsethief bench, Steve's Loop, Mary's Loop and more!! If WE go... There are a couple of areas that people die or get helicoptered out of injured. You gotta pay attention, it's a long way down and that red stuff is rock.

Got a fangboner? Me too.
