Our agreement with the Make It Yours group requires us to do four clean ups per year.  I have scheduled one for July 7th.   Anyone who can make it early to the July FORC meeting and would like to help out, please do so.  I hope to make it there by 4:45 with the supplies.  Let's get the park looking good for the race on the 13th.     I have scheduled a second clean up for the 13th.  We will be cleaning up after the race anyway..........

5:00 or 5:15 for me, 5:30 or 5:45 for HJ.

This will obviously be either a dry meeting or a BYOB meeting-I, of course, will be choosing option 2  Is anyone up for a cookout/potluck? (Joan will bring dessert.)

A dry meeting?!?!  FORC will never have a dry meeting!  That goes against our motto:  HFDB! 

This evening,  I spoke with the owner of Front Street about us NOT being there on Monday.   Unfortunately, the weather forcast says 40% chance of rain.  I asked about us coming there IF it is raining.   We CAN go there for our meeting!   They did have damage downstairs from the flood---drywallers will be there on Monday morning to start re-hanging!  She said it won't be pretty but for OUR club, she will allow us to be there IF we need to be!

So,,,,,I cannot use the internet while at work on Monday, so I will have NO way of knowing where we will have the meeting.  Could someone PLEASE make the decision on Monday afternoon and post up for everyone else AND PLEASE PLEASE  call Jen EITHER way (if we WILL or if we will NOT be down there)  Front Street phone number~~~563-322-1569,

Mama, I will give you a call if our meeting location changes.  Hopefully the weather cooperates.  Rode SBP and Scott County today and BOTH places were awesome!  Great day to ride!

Karen, normally I'm always game for a potluck, but I'll be coming straight from work.  I'm just going to stop and get some ice to fill my cooler that I will already have packed in the car, and I'll stop and pick up some kind of sandwich for dinner.

Bexter said she would be the one to call Jen at Front Street to let her know if we ARE or if we are NOT going to be there! 

Props to Jen for letting us come at the very last moment IF we need to be there!  She is ALWAYS trying to accomodate FORC!  Spend your money there!  They have been hit HARD with the trouble about the flood~~~having to close for a week or so!  You KNOW you want to drink beer, so what better place to go to than our own club house!

Poofy and I are gonna grab a Subway and throw it in the cooler, we've just got too many things going on right now.

But that doesn't mean everyone else can't do the potluck if you want!

Talked to Jen at FSB to advise that we will be having our meeting at the park tonight given the beautiful weather, thanked her, etc.

Thanks to everyone who came out and helped with the cleanup tonight.  I talked to Paula at the Make It Yours group and she informed me that our sign was scheduled to be put up this week.   That would be awesome if it were in place before the race this weekend.
