This site has information from personal weather stations owned by individuals and organizations.   http://www.wunderground.com   There is a station at I80 and I280  and also one in West Central Davenport.  Maybe they can help us keep tabs on rainfall near Sunderbruch.  Better yet we should find someplace near the park where we can install one of our own!!

I used to have a weather station on WeatherUndergound when I lived in Colona.  I live right down the street from SBP, so keeping tabs on rainfall amount over here is very easy for me.

It would be kind of cool to have it setup again for everyone to see.  Something anyone would be interested in?

how much and how do you do that?
maybe we'd do that out at sugar bottom too

A good weather station is usually in the $400-$500 range, the receiver and software to automatically update the website is in the $100-$200 range.
