To All,

You're receiving this email because you RSVP'd for the 2008 Big
Wheeled Ballyhoo.

First off, thank you one and all for your support and desire to come
be a part of The Big Wheeled Ballyhoo. We are flattered and honored by
that and we appreciate it very much.

We deeply regret having to announce to you that we have had to cancel
the Ballyhoo for 2008. Recent events in Decorah and throughout the
state of Iowa have rendered no other choice for us in the matter.
Flooding that is unprecedented has inundated the area where we had
planned to be, roads throughout Iowa are closed due to record flood
levels, and several bridges are impassable as of this writing.

If you have any questions or concerns, please e-mail me at

Again, we are so appreciative of you regarding The Big Wheeled
Ballyhoo. We are sorry for this inconvenience and we hope that you'll
be able to make it next year!

Oh darn!  I was really looking forward to the weekend.  Hopefully they reschedule once the rains chill out.  Thanks Jim for passing along.
