September Meeting moved to Monday the 8th! Be sure to read the Forum Rules before posting
Meet at 8:00am in the Indian Hill Parking lot. We will be putting in reroutes and reparing loops on the north side of the trail system. This will give us a rideable loop or 2 before the Kick Off weekend. See you all there!
Keep an eye on this forum If the weather sucks we will move it to the 27th.
Any one with tools or any that you know has the tools? bring them! I will have Yard Boss(4) fuel and plenty of trail to build. See ya on Sunday. (Tools definded as McClouds flat shovles plaskys and good weather.)
I've got a McCloud that's not mine- and a hard rake and my loppers, but that's all I have left. My cheap shovel took a cheap chit.
That reminds me, whomever grabbed my red Bond shovel from course setup at Sylvan last Saturday, could you please bring it to the trail day? Many thanks!
i'll also bring my flat shovel and limb cutters.
I am postponing this trail day until next weekend. The ground is wet to move dirt and work on the rerouts. Hope everyone planing to be there tomarrow can make it on the 27th.
As long as it is not raining We will have the trail day as planned. Scot and I were out last night to test the yard bosses in the wet conditions. I must say I was impressed with how well they did. Only a short section on a north facing side is where we had problems with caking. See ya on Sunday, 8:00am
mp and I will be there. Hey AG, as a graduate of the University of Wisco. I may have to bring my own spoon to fight back! On Guard, eh F'em Bucky!!

Kudos to the Scott County Park crew! The work day today went very well and we had a nice showing of volunteers. A lot of work has already been done by a few dedicated peops, and it felt good to help them out today. The trail layout flows nicely. Can't wait til we get them done and we're out riding them. SCP is a perfect venue with 1) the trails, 2) great facility with picnic tables and grills, swimming pools, BATHROOMS, campground and 3) a whole bunch of people who will come to ride FORC's new trails. Thanks to everyone who has put in so much effort to make Scott County a reality!
Well after delaying it a week and risking the chance of rain. The trail day went off with out a hitch. Thanks to at least 15 Forc'ers (with 4 new) showed up to lay in the st offical single track trials at Scott County Park! We almost completed the 1st loop of what we hope to have is a 15 mile trail system. The area we worked is just East of the Indian Hill Picnic area and will most likely known as Canon's Run.
Again, thanks to everyone who showed and put thier backs into it!
